New Scheduling Tool
A new scheduling tool called Schedule Builder launched on October 1, 2012. All University of Minnesota students will be able to use Schedule Builder to create class schedules based on selected courses (you cannot register for classes using Schedule Builder). It also allows students to email possible schedules to their inbox and then print for reference during registration.

Legendary U Homecoming Kicks Off Today!
Join in the fun this week as the University of Minnesota celebrates Homecoming! Since 1914, Homecoming brings the campus community together with events such as cheer and lip sync competitions, sport competitions, community service events, pep rallies, and of course the Homecoming parade and football game. Check out the week's events here.

Goldy Statue
Help create a new tradition and build your own legacy by supporting the bronze Goldy Gopher statue campaign. Graduate and Professional School Day
Thursday, October 18, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Coffman Union, Great Hall. More than 100 graduate and professional programs from throughout the country will be represented at this free event. You can browse for information on your own, or talk to school representatives. Learn about programs in law, business, health sciences, education, liberal arts, and more. For details, preparation tips, and a list of participating schools, click here. This event is free and open to all U of M students and the public. It's coordinated by CLA Career Services.

Fourth World Conference on Remedies to Racial and Ethnic Economic Inequality
The Roy Wilkins Center for Human Relations and Social Justice is the host of this FREE conference, from October 11-13, 2012. The theme of the conference is "Major Policy Frontiers in Remedying Inequality." The conference will harness the wisdom and research of the world's top thinkers on economic inequality to produce practical results that can be applied at the local level.
