The Advising Toolkitis a comprehensive resource for advisers. It includes quick links to a host of campus resources from service offices to campus policies, from serving unique campus student populations to decoding common campus acronyms.
OUE provides leadership and support for a campus undergraduate advisor training curriculum to aid advisors in their role of supporting students. The training leverages common resources and practices for advisors while respecting the uniqueness of the undergraduate colleges and programs.
APLUS is the enterprise-wide advising system that provides a wealth of student information to the campus advising, career services, and student support community. Users can access student records, monitor academic progress and update/view case notes. The reporting functions provide summary data for groups of students. Advising Steering Committee
The Advising Steering Committee serves as the campus-wide advisory and consultative body for functions related to undergraduate academic advising across the UMTC campus.
Common Advising Framework
The 2015 advising task force report recommended a common framework to ensure equitable and accessible advising across collegiate advising units. The Core Advising Skills and Methods, Advising Map and a Training and Professional Development Framework outline the campus advising foundation.

Academic Advising Network (AAN)
The University of Minnesota's Academic Advising Network includes and serves professional advisers, faculty members, administrators and others in academic and student affairs concerned with the intellectual, personal and educational needs of students. It provides a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas and information regarding academic advising within the University community.
